‘The Lady Vanishes’ – October 2019

This new stage version is a thriller with some lovely comic moments which is from the original novel on which the classic, very successful and popular Alfred Hitchcock film was based.  The Hitchcock film starred Margaret Lockwood and Michael Redgrave and the play is now being brought to Wilstead audiences with our very own Margaret and Michael in the leading roles.

The play will be performed in the Village Hall, Cotton End Road, Wilstead on Friday and Saturday, the 18th and 19th October and is being directed by Alice Grandridge, assisted by Jez Knowles.  Alice has drawn upon lots of acting talent from the Bedford area so there will be several new faces appearing on the Wilstead stage.

So, put the date in your diary and come and see ‘The Lady Vanishes’, the play that promises to be an exciting departure for Wilstead Players and something new for our audiences.
